Actually, its not a secret. I tell lots of people about it. Disclaimer: this isn’t my recipe, I got it from Ben Greenfield and have been drinking it almost every morning. I believe its a slight twist on “Bullet Proof Coffee“.
Mornings at the Davis household are busy. Breakfast needs to be something that can be easily thrown together. If I have the time I love having two eggs (fresh from the hen house) cooked in my cast iron skillet in a large spoonful of coconut oil. When I don’t have time for that, I throw these ingredients in the blender for “Fat Coffee”.
- 8 oz of Black coffee
- 3 oz of full fat coconut milk
- 1 Tbs of grass fed butter
- 1 Tbs of extra virgin coconut oil (can sub with MCT Oil)
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- dash of cinnamon
- 3 drops of stevia (have been eliminating this lately)
Blend at low low speed, pour and enjoy!
